National Pilot Committee for Digital Ethics - Ethics watch bulletin n°3
This bulletin is part of the monitoring work on the ethical issues related to the use of digital technology in the context of a health crisis carried out by the National Pilot Committee for Digital Ethics (CNPEN).
During the COVID-19 health crisis, the use of telemedicine or telecare acts increased considerably, making the interest but also the complexity of these new medical practices clear. In this newsletter, the CNPEN highlights the issues raised by the combination of medical and digital requirements, explains some of the ethical tensions relating to telemedicine and telecare that were accentuated during the crisis, and sets out seventeen points for vigilance.
