Ethics of digital technologies and computer science, including artificial intelligence and virtual reality, is a major challenge for Europe and a major issue for the French presidency of the Council of the European Union. On the occasion of The Digital Assembly in Toulouse on June 21-22, the French National Pilot Committee for Digital Ethics (CNPEN) organizes a one-day event on June 20 to open a continent-wide discussion and to join efforts among the ethics committees of the EU member states that have shown interest in digital ethics. Bringing together shared knowledge and expertise, this event will strive to install permanent and coordinated reflection that will inform upcoming regulatory decisions at the European level and in the EU member states.
The event will be hosted by the LAAS (Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems), 7 avenue du colonel Roche in Toulouse.
